About the role The SenterME mobile app is the primary interface through which healthcare teams encounter the system. If the app is confusing, slow, or untrustworthy, participation falls — and the entire detection capability of the platform is compromised. This role owns the application end-to-end: architecture, implementation, delivery, and iteration. This is not a support role. The Mobile Development Lead is a full owner of a critical system. They work directly with the Signal Design Lead, Technical Lead, and Product Designer to ensure that the participant experience in the app matches the precision and trustworthiness of what SenterME promises. What you will own The iOS and Android applications — architecture, codebase, and production deployment The signal input interface — how participants encounter, understand, and contribute signals Performance, reliability, and offline behavior in clinical environments App update cadence and version management across active deployments Collaboration with the Signal Design Lead on experience requirements and the Technical Lead on API integration Who tends to thrive in this role Strong candidates have shipped production mobile applications — not prototypes — and understand what it means to own a live product used by real people under real conditions. They have strong UX sensibility without requiring a designer to define every interaction. They care about how the app feels to use, because they understand that the experience is the product in this context. Why this role matters Participation is voluntary. The app has no coercive mechanism. The only thing that brings a charge nurse back to contribute a signal at the end of a difficult shift is trust in the experience and confidence that it matters. The Mobile Development Lead is the person who builds and maintains that trust at the interface level. Compensation structure, equity participation, and stage-specific details are discussed during the interview process. Apply for This Role →
