Rise Data Labs partners with leading AI teams to evaluate and improve next-generation AI systems. We work at the intersection of technology, human judgment, and real-world business outcomes, helping teams ship higher-quality AI faster.
We’re looking for a Strategic Growth Intern who wants to move fast, learn the AI ecosystem up close, and help build a high-trust network of senior leaders. You’ll work hybrid so you can help run NYC-based dinners and salons, plus webinars and roundtables for VP and C-level leaders across AI, product, data, and engineering.
If you’re high-agency, organized, and excited to run programming end-to-end, this role will put you in the room with the people shaping the industry.
What you’ll do
Build and run executive programming end-to-end
  • Own the planning and execution of dinners, roundtables, salons, and webinars for senior AI leaders
  • Create event themes that feel timely and high-signal (ex: evals, agentic AI, model quality, AI safety, enterprise adoption)
  • Manage the full event workflow: concept → guest list → outreach → RSVP tracking → run-of-show → hosting → follow-up
Grow and activate a senior network
  • Research and identify VP/C-level leaders at frontier labs and enterprise AI teams
  • Write thoughtful outreach messages that get responses (email + LinkedIn)
  • Build relationships with repeat attendees and turn events into an ongoing community flywheel
Operate like a mini producer + operator
  • Coordinate venues, food, run-of-show, speaker prep, and day-of logistics
  • Build lightweight systems to make events repeatable (templates, checklists, guest tracking, post-event notes)
  • Keep momentum post-event: recap notes, follow-ups, introductions, and next steps
Content and distribution (optional, but a plus)
  • Turn events into short content assets: key takeaways, speaker quotes, mini write-ups, or LinkedIn posts
  • Help package programming into simple “why attend” narratives that attract great people
You’re a great fit if you are
  • High agency: you take direction once, then run with it and ship
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: you can make decisions with incomplete information
  • Socially confident and professional: you can host a room, greet senior guests, and keep things running smoothly
  • Organized and detail-oriented: logistics don’t slip through the cracks
  • Tasteful and high-signal: you know what makes an event worth attending for a busy exec
  • Excited about AI: you’re curious and genuinely want to learn the space fast
Requirements
  • Based in (or able to commute to) New York City and available for hybrid work
  • Ability to attend evening events in NYC as needed (dinners, salons)
  • Strong written communication (you can write outreach that sounds human and compelling)
  • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces without constant supervision
Nice-to-haves
  • Experience running events, communities, student orgs, conferences, salons, or speaker series
  • Familiarity with the AI ecosystem (labs, startups, enterprise AI teams, trends)
  • Comfort using tools like Notion/Airtable, Google Suite, Calendly, and AI tools to move faster
What you’ll get
  • Direct collaboration with the CEO at a venture-backed AI company
  • Exposure to senior leaders across the AI industry, fast
  • A front-row seat to how AI teams think about quality, evaluation, and real-world deployment
  • A role where your work is visible and meaningful: if you’re great, you’ll quickly own major pieces of programming
